Fyffes – OTC Team Supervisor – Rotterdam


Fyffes GBS is responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across multiple markets. The Order to Cash Team Supervisor is a key role responsible for overseeing the order-to-cash team and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. This position involves supervisory responsibilities, team management, and a focus on generating insightful reports on performance to enhance decision-making within the finance department.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the Order-to-Cash (OTC) team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment;
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback;
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the OTC process, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to established processes and SLAs;
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet workload demands;
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on order-to-cash processes, systems, and best practices;
  • Develop and generate comprehensive reports on key order-to-cash metrics, including cash application, collections, credit management, and other relevant KPIs;
  • Utilize reporting tools and software to create accurate and visually appealing reports;
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, outliers, and areas for process improvement;
  • Provide actionable insights to management based on data analysis;
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to create accurate cash flow forecasts;
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities through data analysis;
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and the overall efficiency of the order to-cash function;
  • Implement improvements to streamline reporting and increase data accuracy;
  • Communicate regularly with OTC GBS manager, to provide updates on team performance, issues, and recommendations;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reporting with broader business goals;
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices;
  • Address and rectify any discrepancies in a timely manner
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
  • Experience in process and or team management in Shared Service Centre, is a must have;
  • Experience in order-to-cash processes, with a focus on team supervision and reporting analysis;
  • Experience in using SAP S/4HANA, data analytics and reporting tools (SAC, Power BI);
  • German-speaking is a requirement

  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness;
  • Bring a hands-on work approach, with a can-do mentality;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization/time-management skills required;
  • Demonstrable conflict management experience required;
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
